Ed Tracy is a British writer-director based in London. Since his debut in 2005 Ed has worked in scripted comedy and drama, animation, hidden camera, factual, and multi-camera studio. He has worked with a diverse range of talent including Tom Hardy, Kayvan Novak, Arthur Darvill, Riz Ahmed, Dizzee Rascal and Banksy. In 2008 Ed won a Bafta award for co-creating/writing and directing the TV show Fonejacker. He produced the one and only mixtape with Tom Hardy, and a podcast series about film production.

Ed creates work with his company Too Tall Productions, alongside producer Diana Tracy. Too Tall have produced original content for Film4, BBC3, and Island Records (Universal Music).

Too Tall also creates Visual Effects, Titles and animation. We were nominated for a BAFTA Craft Award for Best Titles and Graphic Identity for our work on BBC3’s Murder In Successville (Tiger Aspect). Our clients include Left Bank Pictures, Acme Films and the BBC.
